ROLL CALL & COMMITMENT
Roll call sign-up
The first 15 to write IN in the WhatsApp chat are confirmed. Subscribers keep a reserved spot before the roll call opens. Monday 9pm opens Sunday at 7:55pm, Saturday 11am opens Friday at 11am. Writing IN means you commit to show up and to pay.
Waitlist
Stay active in the chat. The first person on the waitlist is invited automatically when a spot frees up. No response passes the invite to the next person.
CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW
Cancellation deadlines
Monday sessions: free cancellation before 3pm the same day. Saturday sessions: free before 11:30pm the night before. After the deadline, 16,90$ is due if no replacement is found. With a replacement, no fee.
No-show
Not showing up without notice means 16,90$ is due, replacement or not. Repeated no-shows lead to a warning, then exclusion from the community.
PAYMENT
Rates & timing
16,90$ up to 30 minutes after the session, 20$ after. Online payment via the Stripe link in WhatsApp only. No cash.
Non-payment
A reminder is sent after the session. Persistent non-payment leads to exclusion until it is settled.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriber rules
Subscribers get a guaranteed reserved spot every week. You must still give notice if you cannot attend your session. An unreported absence counts as a no-show with a 16,90$ penalty. Repeated absences trigger a warning and a review of the subscription.
Cancelling the subscription
Monthly auto-renewal. Cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal, no justification needed.
GAME FORMAT
How it runs
2-hour sessions, 15 players max. Games to 7 points, around 8 to 10 minutes each. Teams are formed on site by the session ambassador. The winning team stays on court.
Equipment & access
Basketball shoes and athletic wear are mandatory. The ball is provided. No bags, jackets or boots in the gym. Bring a padlock for your belongings. Arriving 10 minutes early is strongly recommended.
CONDUCT & SPIRIT
Level & spirit
Open to everyone but competitive. An intermediate to advanced level is needed to fully enjoy it. Good energy, fair play and respect are required.
Violence & behaviour
Physical or verbal violence, insults, harassment, threats and disrespect are strictly forbidden. First incident: a formal warning. Repeat: immediate ejection without refund. Severe or repeated behaviour: a permanent ban.
IMAGE RIGHTS
Consent to capture
By taking part in an Area Courts session, you grant the organization the right to photograph and film you. Content may be published on Instagram, WhatsApp and other Area Courts platforms. You can opt out by telling the ambassador before the session.
